Just went to a great lecture by Tobias Rehberger at the Denver Art Museum this week. His concepts and working methods are quite interesting, he would draw things from memory like a chair or car and send his drawings to the carpenter and have them make the object. For some reason it reminded me of a childhood game called Telephone (whisper a phrase in someone's ear and the last person had to say the phrase out loud which was quite opposite of the original).
Most of all it was great to hear the artist not have the exact answers for some of the ?s, his honesty was a breath of fresh air. As an young unknown artist its great to hear a Golden Lion winner say he is still working out the reasons why.
Here is a LINK to some of his work.
